So today I did have a picture in mind considering that the word for today was drink. However after Chapel service this morning we went out for dinner with my Mom and after I had let them out I went and parked the car. As I was getting out I noticed some smoke and I looked over at another near by restaurant and spotted this pig being roasted. So since this is the first time I have actually seen a pig roast I figured it was something I needed to get a picture of. The Manor is a lovely restaurant situated inside of this old house in the High Street Shopping District. So as the weekend comes to an end I trust everyone will have a wonderful week ahead
Perhaps they thought more customers would be drawn to the place baby the smell of roast pork and crackling! I have to ignore the pigs face while I am saying this!
Nothing like a pig roast. The last time I went to one, my son's fraternity had one. The food is great--looking at that face, not so much! Great capture!
My timing to view your photo was not too good. As I read the title out loud, my daughter looked at it saying, "ohhh that's gross...I don't want to see it". LOL!
I've never seen a pig roasted either though Tina says they used to do so at a pub near here called the Boar's Head - which would follow! Interesting picture and nice writing, Brian.
Well spotted, funny to see this outside a restaurant, we have a medieval market around here in November where the rost loads of them, I might take a pic when we go there

Good one
