On Duty

I am not sure if I have mentioned this or not. Melody and I were officially installed as Chaplains at the Market Place Chapel at West Edmonton Mall. It is a volunteer position but it certainly keeps us busy. We are there for a service every Sunday and Melody covers the Monday morning shift at the reception desk each week. There are 43,000 people employed at the mall and the chapel has been here since 1986. You really have no idea who may stop by on any given day. So far this year there have been visitors from over 30 different countries to the chapel. This shot was taken when we were covering a Friday evening shift for one of the other volunteers

That is a great volunteering endeavor. Awesome. And I can't believe there are 43,000 employees at West Ed. Mall..... Guess I should believe it. Been there, done that several times.....
