So with this weeks theme being family I was going to post a video clip but for some reason I was having trouble. So I decided to put together a collage of the Mindbender Roller Coaster at Galaxyland in West Edmonton Mall. Since I am not one for rides I have never been on this and have no intention to ever give it a try but I thought it might be fun to try and show it off for those who have never seen it
Is it true the mall has a submarine (hubby reckons it has). Told my d-i-l about your chapel volunteering. She told me she volunteered at a prayer drop in centre at a shopping centre and so enjoyed it. Would love to do again but needs funding support
@andreajoy Well Andrea the mall used to have some submarines. They ran around the lagoon where the large ship sits. They took them out a few years ago. I will have to take a look at some of my old photos and see if I can find one of them to post
@happypat They are something to watch for sure and this one unfortunately was at one point very lethal as back in 1986 a car went off the tracks and three people were killed
It's a doozy! I had to give it a whirl about 10 yrs ago to show my son (and myself) that I could still do it! Used to love coasters, but they didn't go upside down like this one does. Crossed off the list....don't have to do it again!
