Truman Residence by bkbinthecity

Truman Residence

So today the United States celebrates President's Day. Back when was in my early teens I developed an interest in US Presidents.
When Melody's brother lived in Kansas City we made a few trips down there. On one of those trips we took a tour of Harry Truman's residence located in Independence MO.
It was very fascinating especially since it was left the way it was when they lived there. Unfortunately they did not allow photos taken inside. Have a great week everyone
It looks as if he had a very nice home. How neat it must have been to tour the inside!

LOL Jeff was home today and mid-afternoon he said, "Is it a holiday today?" We'd been so focused on the cold temps and staying inside, we'd lost track of time! Nice capture!
