Archive Week.....Homemade Snowmobile

So this week I decided to take a trip back in time. When we were staying at the Hotel MacDonald I came across a set of old photos on display. I thought it would be fun to share them with everyone this week.
This photo dates back to 1918 and is a homemade snowmobile that was being tested out
Wow! Excellent shot.

I just hope that in a 100 years from now there is a format for looking at photos of today and they haven't all got lost in some future change in technology.

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be much snow upon which they could test it...It sort of reminds me of a sleigh--a wonderful capture of such ingenuity. :)
