Well it has been awhile but l am back with another of my photos for my Hello #YEG series featuring different buildings or attractions in Edmonton. Comparing a coloured picture from a children's colouring book to a photo of the real thing.
Today is the Telus World of Science.
It opened on July 1, 1984. This building features several exhibits that help teach about both space and science. As well as a huge IMAX Theater.
I have not seen one of these comparative collages from you before, so I have just spent a pleasant 10 minutes scrolling back through all your photos this year. Its an interesting idea to take photos of places featured in the colouring book. I once saw an exhibition in Japan where they featured a 400 year old scroll that depicted a local landscape. They had then taken a series of photographs of what that landscape looks like now. Quite a different take to yours...but I like the idea of the relooking at a landscape.
I think you need to tag all your picture/photo shots so we can see them all together. Also you could include this in the May half and half challenge xx
@hrs Thanks Helen. That landscape idea sounds very interesting. Living in the city l have done something similar with buildings. Maybe it is time to do some more
