Remembering A Giant of a Man

Today Canada's Christian Community is remembering one of its greatest leaders. David Mainse along with his wife of 59 years started a daily talk show in 1977 that today is this nations longest running daily talk show. Over the years David would meet Presidents and Prime Ministers and yet he always had the time for the regular ordinary people that he would meet on a daily basis. He also had such a love for our nation of Canada. Over the years he took 100 Huntley Street on a the road with 4 cross Canada Tours.
When he was diagnosed with cancer in 2014 he responded by purchasing a Harley Davidson and travelling from his retirement home in Florida to Canada and hosting 100 Huntley Street one more time.
Please remember his family in your prayers. Melody and l had the opportunity to meet him once many years ago and we have never forgotten the few moments we spent together.
Alrhough these are not my pictures l felt I needed to pay tribute to a truly great Canadian
So sorry for your loss. I was not familiar with him or his work, so I thank you for your explanation.
