Lord Strathcona

Continuing with our walkwe make our way to the south lawn where we find this statue of Lord Strathcona.
Lord Strathcona was Governor of the Hudson Bay Company, President of the Bank of Montreal, Member of Parliament, Founder of the Canadian Pacific Railway, High Comissioner to Great Britain and founder of Lord Strathcona's Horse Royal Canadian Regiment.
He was also chosen to drive in the final stake to complete the Trans Continental Railroad
