I shook two trees today, used the black mulberries to make mulberry stew…a heap of sugar and cover with vodka and let it stew. Yum. Three good things:
1. Put together a pie for the freezer to cook later 2. Froze enough for yet another pie.
3. It is a good year for free berries.
