Had to put this up for my 365 memories.. They used to play free gigs around Brighton and I went to so so many. I wouldnt have called myself a hard-core fan but I loved the hard-core mosh pit that came with them and myself and my girlfriends would often push ourselves to the front. Such such fun!
Wow you certainly know how to take them don't you. Gig shots I mean. Loved all of them, never been fond of The Levellers myself really but think I remember one called Wonderful Day or something similar!
Nice gig pics you've been putting up - I used to have a soft spot for the Levellers - all those 'issues' songs and they were kind of vaguely folkish - a sign of which way my musical tastes were starting to lean. Never saw them live though.
ride was great actually, cutting up traffic all the bikes were unison and would go straight to the front when stopping at traffic lights, did it in just over 3 hours...but i had to keep waiting for my mate. if it werent for him, would of nailed it in 2.5 hours i reckon
although saying that thoughts dont pay for heart transplants... opps
