And a couple have made the top 20 two weeks running, well deserved :-)
Though I really do like Jenna and Lauren's pictures I do think it is a bit unfair that they are included two weeks in a row. I'm all for the same artist being in the Top 20 week after week, but something about the same photo just irks me. =/
I guess it does because I feel as this is one of the ways for people to see works that they may missed during the week and when one photo is here two weeks in a row thats one less photo that went unnoticed by some people that could be showcased.
Jenna, I just love that little frog to bits LOL!
My other thought is that if a shot is featured in the "top" will it not result in more views & comments, etc. which will then mean it returns to the "top" the following week, etc. ... until it's just repeatedly the same shots? Or is there more complex math involved here?
You guys all have such beautiful photos! Lauren, you were lucky to have a few up there! I'm waiting patiently for one of mine to show up some day!

And @Laura, thats exactly what I was thinking, if something is in the top 20 its obviously going to be noticed and get clicked on more and etc.
Sorry if anyone thought I was being inconsiderate, I love all the stuff chosen and just wanted to express my opinion cause I know you guys are fairly pretty open when it comes to comments and critiques!
I do enjoy the blogs, but I would like to see some 'hidden gems'. {:
I also agree with Chris. I think that, while the pictures that are here are obviously of high caliber, some have been here all 3 weeks and I think that's unfair. Isn't there a way to at least skip that one and find the NEXT popular one the next week? If that makes sense. It's still there math wise with the most views/comments/favs, but just skip it and go to the next. That way we can get a different selection weekly. I feel the same as Cindy and Stephanie do, too, about "hidden gems", but if that would be too difficult, at least giving a different set of pictures each week would be better, in my humble opinion =).

just noticed some of the same shots as last week popping up this week again... maybe the system of the selection should be relooked.
And I agree with Megan - to have a true 'weekly top 20', maybe the featured photos should be limited to the actual week? Thus, by definition, preventing photos from appearing twice across weeks. I'm sure that wouldn't be too difficult to implement - just define it by the date of the photo upload. :)
