@monikozi Yup. It's a small agave. It's similar to an aloe.

Wow! I just read that all agave species die once they bloom, which occurs in 10 to 30 years. Something like a swan song in the reign of flowers?

@monikozi Yuccas, Agaves, and Aloes....they all look sorta similar, but, yes, it is Agaves that die after they bloom. Some here are called "century plants" because they (seem to) take 100 years to bloom!
