Ok, today I went to the mall today and frittered away the whole day....this is all I managed to come up. My Grandson insisted we ride the glass mall elevator down to the first floor where I tried to get a picture of the carousel but the elevator kept getting in the way!! Taken with my Fish Eye Lens...kind of has a sci-fi, spaceship feel to it.
Thanks everyone for your nice comments! I actually went there specifically to get some colorful pictures of all the Christmas lights but a Mall Security Guard descended on me immediately while I was trying to shoot the lights from the upper level...scrooged! Told me they don't allow any pictures in the mall! Evidently he didn't notice all those people snapping away with their Iphones!! Oh well, I got away with this one in the elevator! :)
I like it...I will have to give that effect a try sometime. And thanks for the heads up about security. I have found that to be more and more common...so if we have to resort to using our cellphones, so be it...they all have great cameras in them now anyway ;-) Oh, and welcome to 365! Amazing shot, Paula! I see the carousel in the left corner. This does look like a view from a spaceship. Well done! Can't believe we've reached a point where no photos are allowed of Christmas displays in a mall. Bah humbug!
