Pheasant

This is it, this is all I could come up with today....one of a small group of Ring Necked Pheasants foraging in the snow covered cornfield this afternoon as we drove by! There were a couple of Roosters and a female or two but of course they flew off into nearby bushes as soon as we got close so I couldn't get a decent shot at him. I had to do some serious cropping on this guy!

@barbsmith Thanks Barb....I had to crop it so much I thought it ended up looking like one of those fake birds you buy at the garden centers....kinda like those hideous plastic flamingos!!! :)
