Thank you all for your wonderful comments and favs on my bird/people shots yesterday! I will definitely give that another go. I have always felt very conscious photographing people. Focusing on the birds and using the zoom lens seemed to be a great way to get around that.
Had exactly 20 minutes after leaving work to catch the light before sunset (will leave the dabbles of night shots until the clocks go back in a week's time...). Watched this wind farm being built over the past few weeks and could never figure out where to stop and how to get to a spot where I might be able to capture these giant wind turbines. Tonight I just followed my nose - or more to the point the sunset - and found a spot just outside Lynemouth where I could follow a track, squelching through the mud.
I feel exactly the same. I find they have a simple grace and beauty and for me they add to the landscape and don't detract from it. And Phil, definitely so much better than staring at a power station :-)
