Working this weekend, so having a quiet night in. Work was busy but not too hectic and I managed to get away on time to make it into "the Toon" to catch Newcastle's family friendly fireworks at 6pm... best views from Eldon Square multi-storey car park! My first attempt at fireworks and I am quite pleased with the results :-)
Very nice way to see out the old year in 365 style! Although I did hang on to my camera for dear life - my little table top tripod just about fitted onto the top of the wall. A very long drop on the other side...
I don't mind so much having to work tomorrow, but rather irritated that I have to wash my tunics tonight to have clean ones tomorrow - oh joy :-S
