Spent a pleasant early lunch break at this cafe/art gallery. Nice to be away from the team now and again :-)

Played around with in camera settings for the camera settings challenge ( http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/16431/camera-settings-challenge-21). Cannot for the life of me find blue tone in my camera options...so adjusted colour temp under white balance...

Top left: monochrome
Bottom left: monochrome with max contrast
Middle: monochrome with minimum contrast
Top right: monochrome with -2 contrast, +2 sharpness, red filter
Bottom right: monochrome with +2 contrast, max sharpness, colour temp set to 2500k

Very effective having the same picture repeated (with tweaks) - might have to try that.

@judithg thanks! Definitely very good exercise, also never used those adjustments in camera much before. If only I could find blue tone now...or maybe I don't have it :(

that challenge is so daunting. or perhaps my mind is just plain lazy to try it. unless someone whips my ass to do it, i probably won't do it. but i might, one of these days. lovely setting.
