A lovely and lively day with my sister in Hamburg. Got up at 8 to attend a church service held by one of my sister's close friends, followed by a marvellously impressive birthday brunch of another friend. Suitably fed and watered we squeezed in a walk through another nature reserve just outside the city, found some chocolate eggs but left them for the kids they were surely meant for...the eggs had disappeared on our way back ;)
Just enough time to unpack our Easter parcel from Mum and Dad and our own Easter nests before getting changed and heading back out for the ballet! There are no pictures or words that could truly describe the amazing performance we saw - John Neumeier's "Messiah".
