An incongruous sight. But it was outside a hip handmade leather bag shop.
A late breakfast with M of exotic mushrooms before she went to meet mum for lunch. We headed out to a new steady speed session. I didn't have high expectations and the first half or so wasn't great with what felt like just too much hand holding. But once the organisers relaxed, it became more enjoyable and natural - useful to have a go at tunes at a slower pace. Ellie who I haven't seen for ages turned up with her new baby.
M returned home later and we had a pick and mix supper of baked potatoes, dips, fish and cottage cheese. Mum still talking about wanting a cat apparently.
3 good things
1. Weekends with not too much on - nice not to have to rush out of bed first thing.
2. A late afternoon with more resting, finishing my book and eating Christmas cake.
3. Pump Street single origin chocolate from our Cocoa Runners subscription box Christmas present.
