Getting ready for the big day

I have to confess that I've not really been paying any attention to the forthcoming monarchical shindig but others are getting into the spirit.

Terrible night of non-sleep - Dave having woken me up at 2ish saying something about bloody helicopters, I just couldn't get back to sleep and tossed and turned in a morass of fretting. Left me like a zombie today and with a horrible long meeting in the afternoon. Couldn't walk through the parks either with all the road closures and what have you.

2. Found Hotel Chocolat goodies and hipster cider for Dave to take in for Sharon's birthday.
3. Fishfingers in pitta for supper.
