A nice end to the day after a day of working from home and watching the sunny day and the swifts from my window.
S from next door messaged as she wanted to see if we had their keys so that we could water their garden this weekend. I did (and Richard and Caroline's who've long moved) and I popped round to check how their back door works.
After baked potatoes for supper, we headed out to the bal. Lovely music, some old and new faces and a fair bit of dancing on grumbly knees. A couple of nice glasses of Pimm's too.
3 good things
1. Scaffolders and scaffolding were gone by 9.30.
2. Really warm sunshine today - finally getting some proper vitamin D.
3. Huge swift party outside my bedroom window, one or two of them swooping into our roof - could barely work, it was so lovely to watch them.
