After yesterday's relatively inclement weather, normal service was resumed – breakfast outside in the warm sunshine with fresh bread brought back from the baker’s by Peter.
No outings today, just chilling at the tower. Had a music session with Anna in the morning – we decided to call ourselves the Fat Slappers – can’t think why … Then lunch – our first panzanella from Lara (another Marcella recipe – using toasted bread bits rather than soggy ones which is the norm in Italy), more tomato salad, bread and cheese.
Then a game of Hearts while Anna entertained us with selections from her Wicked Italian phrase book. Some of the others indulged in silly pool games.
Dinner this evening was outside – Matt and Caroline’s very tasty porcini risotto with asparagus and tomato salad. Then cheese and chocolate in the prosecco lounge watching silly youtube videos on people’s gadgets.
