Millbank Tower by boxplayer

Millbank Tower

An interesting view of Millbank Tower as I walked round after work tracing the perimeter of the Millbank Penitentiary that dominated this area in the 19th century. There are still some visible clues to its former existence which I only realised existed recently - see http://www.flickr.com/photos/ayla63/6911580577/

Day started idiotically as, having got into work, I excitedly tore open my Amazon package to drool over my A Tune A Day for Violin only to find it was a textbook about HR practice. Much really, really, really bad swearing then happened. Nearly cried over the phone to the Amazon guy who promised he'd send me out the correct book today. Later that day, I noticed my order had been updated on my account but despatch date was sometime in October - another phone call to a more helpful Amazonian who promised me a refund so I could go get the book elsewhere ...
