October rainbow challenge - Week 3: Transport - Monday: Red
Days are getting shorter so I was struggling to find interesting things to do with buses this morning in the gloomy light, then after work. Lunchtime was at choir, so no chance then. Settled for this one over the line of buses in extras http://365project.org/boxplayer/extras/2012-10-15 as it's so red all over ....
25 years ago we had a hurricane in southern England. Actually, it wasn't a hurricane - although it had hurricane-force winds (see Wiki) - it was The Great Storm of 1987 - which reminds me of a rather tittersome Vicar of Dibley sketch. Whatever it was, as I posted on Facebook this morning, I had never heard before, and have never heard since, such a roaring, intense, incessant noise as I did that night - I thought the world was ending.
