Last week was my former boss's leaving do ( http://365project.org/boxplayer/extras/2012-11-15), today was my current boss's leaving do - Fiona is moving on to another department next week, so we gathered in the Morpeth Arms for a drink. Graham on the right used to work for us on our intranet redevelopment project and Stuart, growing out of Fiona's shoulder, still works with us.
Could only stay for one though as I had to get to Trad Academy - I suspect Fiona and drinking chums are still in there ...
Quite different tonight at Trad Academy as the normal tutors weren't there. Learnt a Swedish waltz - very lovely and mysteriously modal - and even did a Swedish long dance to get into the mood.
@fueast - No - all very boring but the short version is: she's been around a long time - basically we had a bit of a restructure this time last year and my old boss (who left the department last week) was moved sideways to another team in our unit and I no longer worked to her (although still worked with her on certain projects). My team moved to sit under Fiona (but she's now leaving the department too). We will be boss-less for a little while.
@boxplayer Oh well constant reorganisation is always good for getting things done eh? Think things are not easy at DEFRA either. I will be in Ergon house on Monday btw. Is that near you? Usually done by 4.30.
