I've been looking for a flower/plant for my blue theme but of course it's not really a good time. But I knew that in one of the Pimlico housing association estates there's someone who has a whole spread of hydrangeas planted - in all fantastic colours.
I stopped off there this morning and lo and behold there were just a few blooms left - and they were blue. Result.
Chelated iron! Makes them blue - I tested it secretly on my neighbour's pink one because she wanted it to be blue but she died before it flowered again and the new house owners dug it up :0(
Your calendar view of your blue month is fantastic. Would love to try something similar some time, but it's all green and brown round here. Well, mostly brown at the moment if I am honest.
You managed to find a blue plant for your challenge. I thought of this one too, but our hydrangea in the garden hasn't got a single flower on it. Lovely shot!
