Dappled Japanese anemones in the park. Nice sunny afternoon it was.
After the usual mad-rush packing job, headed off to St Pancras for a train to Beeston, picking up some nibbles and drink at the M&S there. Anna picked me up at the station and then we headed back to hers for a broccoli pasta with Sandy who'd already arrived. Felt rather indigestified after - partly because of the sheer quantity of nibbles I'd eaten before the pasta, and the sheer quantity of Nigel Slater's rhubarb and polenta cake I'd had after the pasta - and partly I think because of the peculiar salmon panini I'd had at lunch.
We played a few tunes in the music room at a seemingly horrendously late hour (Anna swore blind her neighbours wouldn't hear) before I went to bed feeling decidedly uncomfortable.
