Good job pushing through - and combining it with a challenge, well done!
With wide aperture, there is always the question of where to focus, since things fall out of focus so quickly. Generally the eye is less bothered by background blur than foreground blur, so I would have liked to see what this photo would have looked like with the focus on the closest compact.
@archaeofrog thanks Katie - yes i'm finding some subjects are easy to get the exact focus. I was trying not to loose the pretty fabric in blur - but i think in doing so it kind of lost its punch! Possibliy not the best subject for an aperture challenge!!! thanks - great feedback :)
