Bristol Marine

There is a steel hulled cruising sloop berthed here, probably for refit. In the background left is the school I attended for 6th and 7th grade. The large smokestack in the center-right background is at the site of the former Kaiser Aluminum facility where my grandfather worked after he emigrated from the Azores in 1919 (age 16) until he retired in his '60's. One job for his entire life. His nickname there was "16".
Lovely scene
