In other news, I got a call from my gardener today saying that he'd found a tablet outside my garden gate and that it was a white iPad. It's not mine I tell him as we only have Samsung's in the house. Yes, it's a Samsung IPad he tells me. Well I know that there's no such thing but I do get worried and ask him if the house looks okay. Is there any broken glass? Is the door still locked. I started thinking all sorts that we'd got broken into again (it's only been six months since the last time) and they'd got disturbed and dropped one of the tablets in their haste. I get home two hours later and check. Phew! Everything is fine. The gardener had posted the tablet through the letterbox - just in case it belonged to us. It doesn't thankfully. It's a 7inch Samsung white tablet. I doubt whether it works as I've no idea how long it's been outside being battered by the elements and it has grit in the charger socket. I'll just give it back to the gardener as finders are keepers. And we really need to get some security cameras installed.
@jesperani Funnily enough it just turned on by itself but there's a security code on it and the touchpad doesn't work so no way of accessing it to find the owner.
I love those Winter Pansies - a touch of softness in the harsh modern concrete climate.
Sorry about your security struggles - hope you stay safe. I wonder whose the tablet is and how it got to your gate. Maybe someone stole it and dropped it when they couldn't get into it!
