My son's school is closing half day for parent consultations. I put my boots - the first time since the weather has changed. It's chilly out there. Coat on. I start walking to school and when I'm almost there I think that it's odd that I can't see many other people on the streets. There should be lots of parents walking to the school to pick up their kids...hmmm. I check my text messages from the school and the penny drops - It's next week. Doh! I walk back, rustling the leaves as I return home.
