I actively went looking for a photo opportunity today. I pulled up on the side of the road and saw this gorgeous lake opposite some houses. The ducks spotted me and came gliding over only to turn tail when they realised that I had no food for them. Sorry!
A five mile walk in and around Trent park helped contribute to my 15,000 steps today. Beautiful autumnal colours all around me, squishy mud underfoot, the whinnying of horses yards away and only a couple of people in sight (mainly on the golf course to my left - fenced in so passers by can’t stumble inside and get knocked out from a careening ball). It was a little unnerving walking amongst the wilds with not a soul in sight for large chunks of the time but it was freedom personified. Just me and my trusty companion. My camera. #bliss
