This fuzzy little bud intrigued me.. had to touch it ..don't know what it is though.

@olivetreeann thank you for commenting. your right I just have to do that after the season is officially open because none of the flower beds were ready or in bloom.. so find this particular tree will not be easy as we were all over the place.. I thought it looks similar to pussy willows too but the bud I think are smaller than this one.
@pyrrhula Now that was sweet of you to say that I would be the queen. yes we both like collages a lot..and I've made so many over the last two years. and I like to thank you for catching up on older pictures. this was quite unexpected but thank you my friend.
as the photo was loading i was thinking it was a little chicken, a duckling, a bird.......haha turned out to be a pussy willow! I have seen them growing on a mountain.....
They look more like Magnolia buds starting to break, the willow would have a large brown subtending bract(a scale-like hemispherical covering for the developing flowers). Google image both and see what you think.
