Usually in January we're shovelling snow. this year it's more like sweeping puddles of the walkway instead. picture (1) shows snow on our deck and on the other picture you can see the reflection of our neigbor's home..his sideyard is low and catches all the rainwater. at 5pm it's still 54 degrees F.
BTW some of you might remember the big snowfall we had at the beginning of December..well when you look at tall fur tree at the side of our neigbor's house you can see how the heavy wet snow bend one of the branches..it never straightened itself out again..
These are both beautiful, Bruni! We are having the same weather here. And it rained last night and now all of the snow is gone again. One doesn't know what to expect next!
@karenann your're so right. the rain washed everything away.. our ditches in front of the property are still frozen but very slowly the water underneath and from the melting on the sides is flowing again. took pictures of it as well.
Nice comparison! The snow we had is completely gone- and I don't miss it one bit! Three nights ago, I had two comforters on and the wood stove blasting. I don't even need the wood stove tonight it's that warm out!
You can start soon wait for a spring!I can publish this kind of collage in April :)
But it is interesting to follow chances in the different part of the world.
Good Thursday to you Bruni!
@if1 We had lost of rain yesterday, snow is all gone, today it's again in the minus. at 12 pm they say it's -05 Celcius but at least it's sunny with a lot of wind. Northern Ontario has lots and lots of snow. thank you Ian for all your comments.
Really nice comparison shots. Thanks for your nice comments on my final photo for Year One last March. I'm now nearing the end of Year Two and happy to find you here....better late than never!
@bruni I agree Bruni and wonder why they do that? Kind of reminds me of FB where some people just like to collect friends then you never hear a peep from them. 4 years! That's wonderful. Look fwd to following you!
@bruni I have the same thing. Many followers do not comment. But I do follow some people that I don't always comment on just because they seem to not need my inexperienced comments because they get so many. And it's hard to comment on every single photo. I tend to not comment so much on obviously professional photographers but enjoy following them to see their beautiful work.
Great shots, Bruni! Love both of them and love the collage. I like the differences. I wish we were back in that 50s temps now. I am freezing cold! Well done on this one! :)
