Memorial plaques

In a graveyard in Germany we came across these old memorial plaques of fallen soldiers dating back to 1418. the stones were covered in moss and it was almost impossible to make out name and dates.
this is my first try of underlay and I know it's not perfect. will try it again.
A really good capture.

It's a pity that the names can't be read.

It`s a wonder those plaques still exist. To day it`s not possible to have them a long time. A great find and capture

Nice shot, Bruni... It looks historic and very old. I have no clue what you mean by overlay. But it's nice that this place hasn't been built over and they kept it as a memorial (or cemetery perhaps?).

I would truly be surprised if I wandered into the woods one day and found plaques from 1418 in the soil! Cool effect.
