We have lots of pretty little song birds which you may have seen on here, such as robins, chaffinches, blue tits, goldfinches and we also have some colourful bigger birds such as jays and woodpeckers. Then there are also the blackbirds, thrushes, doves, wood pigeons, magpies, crows, kestrels, and so many more. Around the London area we now have some colourful parakeets which are not native but are believed to have come from a pair which escaped captivity back in the 1990's.
Instant fav. I love the way you framed this and what an exciting beautiful capture of Mr. Cardinal. I'm trying to get some good shots of ours but they just won't sit still :-)
Oh I know how difficult it is when the little birdies just come, pick a seed and off they fly. you see, what you don't know is that I put some tranquilizer in their seeds, ha ha - just kidding. thank you, Carole for the favorite on all three pictures. so nice to see someone fav. them.
