Can you identify? by bruni

Can you identify?

This morning I heard a most beautiful song and had to investigate where it was coming from. saw this bird inspecting our birdhouse. he was standing there, then flying into it, coming out again and starting all over. this lasted for quite a while. his or her mate was close by. I've never seen one like and can't identify it.
LOL it is an LBJ!!

@digitalrn Your're right, Rick. I even got a reply from one of my followers from years ago. he does stop by once in a while. I could always count on him for answers. so it's a House Wren. will add him to my bird folder.

Nice shots, Bruni! What a cute little bird. If you ever have trouble identifying a bird, go to www.allaboutbirds.org. It not only gives you descriptions but you can listen to the sounds and it gives several images from different angles. You did a great job capturing this wren! Here's a direct link to your bird: http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/house_wren/id ... Also, if you ever see a bird that you can't identify, it has similar species at the bottom. If it comes down to it, I email my contact at my local wildlife center.

@prttblues Bev, you`re too nice. thanks so much or the link. I just posted another bird to identify. only saw him for less than a minute. I was sitting at my desk and saw a shadow flitting by the window. I looked up and saw him take a quick stop in our tree and off he went, never to be seen again. I hope not. have a look at todays 2 picture I posted.
