While waiting to board our plane, I walked around and took a few pictures. although this one isn't very clear and shows some window reflection, I still like it.
Today was our first full day in the glorious sun. mind you, most of it was spent doing grocery shopping as Hans intends to do some home cooking on vacation as well.
(he usually doesn't like to spend too much time at the pool and since he finds cooking relaxing, I get to enjoy some beautiful meals on our vacations.I stay around the pool area, enjoy a swim and a good book and when dinner is ready, he comes and gets me.
The first two weeks of our vacation we're staying in the Grand Mayan Suites at the Mayan Palace in Nuevo Vallarta.and the last two of four weeks will be at the Sheraton Hotel's Bouganvillea, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Newark New Jersey? We went through there on way back from Paris ...then we caught a flight to Atlanta. We did not like Newark airport. Ugh. Glad you will be getting to hang out in sunny and warm weather! Enjoy

@espyetta I agree with you MaryBeth about the airport. I was in a wheelchair on account of my swollen legs and feet. still can't walk too well yet. we didn't have much time in Newark and on account of that they put us and our suitcases on some type of a trolley and zoomed us through areas travellers usually never get to see. also in the midst of it they changed the gate number on us. we would've never made in time if I had to walk. so we didn't much to see, but from what I saw, I wasn't impressed either.
@cejaanderson Thank you Jane. I'll soak up the sun and hope by the time we get home again, the worst of the winter will be over by then.. thank you for your comment. we ordered the internet rather late this evening, so tomorrow I'll be viewing and commenting again.

@mbemis Mannie I hope so too. the dawn is coming up and the pam trees look like shadows against the brightening sky. Hans is pushing me go get ready for our early morning walk.
Nice shot, Bruni. I am so jealous and wish I could be there with you. I would give anything to get out of this cold!! I do hope that your trip is helping you get better. I think the warmth will do your body good. Please be well.
