The Gradall Hydraulic Excavator came around yesterday to clear the ice and snow off ditches at the foot of the driveways to help along with the thawing of the ice and clearing a way for the water to run off. It's a first time they're doing it and hopefully it will help. some ditches were totally plugged last year and when the water has no runoff, it clogs up the rest.three pictures on the bottom are when they cleaned ours. the two on top are homes of our neighbors across the road from us.
Not a problem here. Something I would never have thought about if I hadn't just been to snow-covered Kentucky. Two days after the massive snowfall, they were having flood warnings. Now I know why.
Good job on the collage- I'm expecting some high creeks and rivers around here too as all the snow continues to melt. We've got some pretty big puddles in our back yard already, but they don't seem to be too massive just yet!
