Yesterday was Canada Day. I was out and about with my daughter and it was late by the time we finally made it to Fairy Lake in Newmarket. of course at that time we missed the parade and all of the activities. we walked around the lake, sat on a bench by the water saw some fish jump. on our way back we walked up Main Street, trying to stay in the shade as it was still very hot. the outside cafés were packed. when I saw the red umbrellas and further up the church I thought I must at least take one picture.
