Oct 22: 'Rainbow' by bulldog

Oct 22: 'Rainbow'

The weather was a bit sh... poor today and there was a distinct lack of Rainbows..
Luckily the little people bailed me out again (they could have chosen the non-luminous Plasticine though).

* Best viewed with your eyes closed.
Great shot - at least you found your plasticine - I couldn't find my crayons!
October 22nd, 2012
Wonderful!
October 22nd, 2012
Great shot... love the lazy guy on the sidelines reading the paper! ;-P
October 22nd, 2012
LOL this is a fave for been so creative, AGAIN, putting us all to shame.
I love the guy been squashed by the tube, please call H&S. btw, showed my son your denim shot and he loved it.
October 22nd, 2012
Brilliant Bulldog, well thought out..:-))
October 22nd, 2012
brilliant idea
October 22nd, 2012
This is brilliant! I don't know where you get so many brilliant ideas, you're so creative!!
October 22nd, 2012
Very creative. How come your plasticine isn't brown and grubby like mine? Love this :)
October 22nd, 2012
@rosiekind - You will never guess where it was Rosie.

@pandorasecho - Thanks Dixie, because of the vivid colors, it was really tricky getting a good focus.

@monkeykid - I think he is looking at the plans :)

@cookie123 - It's not as good as I hoped (see reply to Dixie above). Thanks for showing my bits off Bernadette.

@bazza - Thanks Bazza

@suebarni - and thank you Sue and not a hint of My Little Pony anywhere...

@roachling - It is weird, on the way home from work this evening, I had no idea what to do. It was not till I found the Plasticine that the story started to evolve... Whoops, what I meant was, I just got home and the little people were making this...
October 22nd, 2012
Beautiful Sir - they have done a fine job for you. Any gold in that there pot?
October 22nd, 2012
@streetlyend - One of my friends at work brought it for me and this is only the second time it has been used (thank you Annette)

@filsie65 - Yes, and it is all mine.
October 22nd, 2012
Your little people really need to review their safety in the workplace practices. That poor little bloke in the brown top has got himself crushed again! He can't have been back to work very long since the last time it happened: http://365project.org/gphelps5/365/2012-10-03 and all the rest ignored the poor fella again!

Great fun idea and set up as ever,Graham!
October 22nd, 2012
At least the bloke in the yellow hard hat is trying to lift it off him this time Alison.
@dulciknit
October 22nd, 2012
Amazed as always! Is the rainbow vertical? If so, extra kudos points (to the bits) for getting it to stay up. One does wonder why you need a pickaxe for plasticine, but I'm sure there is a plausible explanation!
October 22nd, 2012
Oooh, yeah! Sorry, little bloke in yellow - I wuz doin' you down!
October 22nd, 2012
goodness you remembered the rhyme...'read out your green book of verse' well done........love the pot of gold.what are the 3balls/ boulders, sorry ,at the end? what on earth does your wife make of all this?!!
October 22nd, 2012
They are cutting the ends off the Rainbow with the pick axe and spades, I got home before they had time to finish... and yes, the rainbow is vertical, they stuck it up with burly-builders dust.
@shweetheart
October 22nd, 2012
These little people are new to me! I hope they get paid danger money!
October 22nd, 2012
Haha, 'best viewed with your eyes closed...!' This is so delicious I just want to savour it! Your imagination knows no bounds, and today's word was pretty impossible, go bulldog!!!!!
October 22nd, 2012
@fannyb - Oh come on, you should know how my (their) minds work by now... The the balls are the rolled up off cuts from the rainbow. It is ball like this, that give IKEA their inspiration for furniture, hence the chap from Sweden sitting on one. (and Mrs Bulldog had to sing the song to me, she loves it!)

@maggiemae - Ha ha ha, welcome to my world... There have been quite a few of them... If you have time, have a look at http://365project.org/tags/little-people
October 22nd, 2012
Lmao. Funny shot and I LOVE your disclaimer.
October 22nd, 2012
@egad - Thanks, I'm here all year...
October 22nd, 2012
When life gives you lemons...make your own rainbows? Works for me. Hey, isn't that a pot of gold on the side that no one has mentioned??
October 22nd, 2012
Great idea making for a super shot!
October 22nd, 2012
@danette - Too true Danette. Fanny mentioned the Pot of Gold, but we all know she is as mad as a hatter..

@rhos - Thanks Ann, I really could not get the focus right though..

@fannyb

October 23rd, 2012

@deburahiru @joluise @ladyjane

@lynnb - Ooo thanks Lynn, I think he is reading the instructions. I was not that happy with this as the colours were so strong, it made it difficult to get the focus right.

@webfoot - You may be right Paul.

@aleksandra - Thank you Aleksandra and thanks for the Fav. It was no bother, they had nearly finished by the time I got home from work.

@melee09 - Thanks for the FAV Melee

October 23rd, 2012
Fabulous - one thing I'm interested to know is how much time you spend on each photo for 365???!!!!!
October 23rd, 2012
Too long is the simple answer.. This one took about an hour (or two), todays duck about two hours of my time to get 2 or three pics..
The robots take me about three evenings to make...
@quietpurplehaze

Lyn
I love that you choose to use care in your use of some words in a context like this, whereas the dog name drops without a thought! ;-> Lovely, lovely!!

Real names don't count as rude words Lyn.
