OMG! How many scorch marks on the floor to get this shot! I always manage to singe something when I deal with naked flames! This has such humour and fun, love it. Fav!
I give up trying to predict what you will do with each theme... Just when I think you won't be able to out do your previous post, you come up with another brillant image! Great shot for this week's theme!
Wow! Thank you all so much for your comments and FAVโs, it was a tricky shot to do (Mrs B is still sulking and would not help). Sorry you choked on your beer Malc.
Thank you so much Alison, Maggiemae and Jo,
It did take some doing, this was my fifth or sixth attempt as the first match kept going out before I took the shot. I ended up holding a lit match in my left hand, the camera in my right, aimโฆ focusโฆ light the matchesโฆ snap, snap, snap, snap.. out.
This was the best of the four shots.
Thank you all for your comments, I am glad that I am able to bring a smile to peoples life. I really appreciate the time you all take to view and comment on my bits.
Thank you for you comments and concerns Danette, Hazel & Jackie,
I can assure you that no robots burned in the making of this (this time) and there are no scorch marks on the floor (well nearly none).
Ha ha haโฆ Thank you Dawn. Yes, I believe it is fun living with me and I am afraid youโre right Cassandra, I did say it out loud...
Everyone should keep hold of a little bit of their inner child โ itโs healthy and as Yvonne says โcreativeโ (thanks for backing me up on this one Yvonne).
Believe me AC & Caz, I gave up trying to predict what I will do about six months ago.
I do not have a plan, I donโt normally look at the word of the day until that morning, I then pack myself off to work (with my camera in hand) and stat to think about the word. It is normally something I see on my way to work, or something I think of during the day that gives me the inspiration. I then take the shot at lunch time or plan the shot on the way home, then annoy Mrs B all evening by spending sometimes hours setting these up.
Thank you so much for your comments, it make it all worthwhile.
And finally, thank you Mick, Debbie, Heidi and Kate,
I am not sure why the four of you ended up down here? Maybe because I was saving the best to last.
Thank you so much for your comments and giggles, I love creating these and I love reading all your reactions.
Thank you.
to your usual standard I see! You really do think outside the box.
Ive written all the january challenge themes in my diary but for Monday 28th I have simply written 'near you' - I have no idea what that means..... could you enlighten me please? I cant find the original discussion post on here.... thanks Bulldog :-)
I have a miserable cold, so the warmth here is especially welcomed. . .I may have to call you to task, however, for making me laugh so hard that all the coughing has started back up again!
Love this.
