Five things I have learnt today:
1. There was no Sun today
2. There was no Moon
3. There was just one large grey cloud
4. I have lost my inspiration
5. Baby geese follow their mum
PS. What is wrong with that one near the water in the middle?
He is having a scratch. Don't lose your inspiration, get another project going, tufty was such fun. We had the big grey covering too but it went at about 8pm.
Lovely capture, the poor mother. These all look like teenagers already and there is 9 of them. If she still is inspired to manage all of them you should be as well.
Nice shot and I'm sure you will think of a new project to keep us all amused. I'm not surprised that you are losing your mojo a bit though with the weather and also I'm surprised that you've thought of so many different scenes with your little people. Have a look in the sock drawer and I'm sure you'll find some inspiration!
Darling shot of the mother and her adolescent children. Either the goose in the middle in the back lost its head or it is scratching his back. That is one thing I dislike about shooting geese---they hide their heads when I take their picture. Hopefully, tomorrow will be sunny and you will find your mojo.
Thank you all for you kind words and support, I am having some serious back issues at the moment and that coupled with shite weather in the UK is making me grumpy and uninspired. They do say admitting the problems is half the battle.
1. We borrowed your sun in PA. Will return it when we get sick of it- probably on or about July 31st when the hot, humid weather has helped us to remember the positive side of winter.
2. I think the moon is on vacation. You may want to check with the International Space Station on that one.
3. Give the cloud some credit. At least it was there for you, unlike the aforementioned fickle heavenly bodies.
4. This too shall pass. I feel like I've been on a see-saw with this site in the last few weeks. I post a bunch of photos, and then am off for a few days; post a bunch of photos, and then am off for a few days... It'll come back. Perhaps it's on vacation with the moon.
5. He's sulking. Mom just told him to step in line or he wouldn't get dessert.
Stuck under same blanket of never ending grey cloud....totally fed up so a trip to the pub was the only solution, all was rosie for a while, now I just have a sore head and there is still grey cloud....oh nice pic btw!
I've heard of pork scratchings but goose scratchings???? - You - haven't lost your inspiration - that gosling just tucked it under his wing for a while!
I've completely fallen off the perch with the Just4June Challenge - will try to scramble back on on Saturday with a massive photo shoot to back fill and really annoy everyone! - It happens - we can do a duck or a swan, and sail serenely off across the pond but out-a-sight we'll be paddling madly just to stay afloat! - If all else fails give Pig & Shithead a cuddle and have a beer!
re no 4 It will come back.....look at your water melon shot - sheer brilliance!!!
and great shot..... just love how they just follow!
Have a good weekend Bulldog
