Second Figure by bulldog

Second Figure

After my first attempt at creating one of these figures yesterday, I could not wait to get back in the shed today to have another go.
This time I managed to flatten her back and tummy, meaning she did not look pregnant this time.
Once the turning and sanding was complete, I stained the wood (and my fingers) with black wood die, burnt the lace detail and finally coated her in Teak oil.
Her hat is the same one from yesterday, stained black and then brushed with gold guild.

Alternative detailed shots.
You are so talented!
