During a walk across the Chilterns this afternoon I noticed this stunning tree basking in the late afternoon sun and while setting the camera up I heard a plane flying up. I took a couple of shots of the three before the plane flew into shot and I got this amazing capture.
It was not until I got home and zoomed in, that I saw that the plane was an American WWII Mustang P51D and that I was not the only one watching. If you look to the highest point of the tree, there is a Red Kite perched there...
