Two-tier bike racks by busylady

Two-tier bike racks

Had a day out in Cambridge while hubby gave away his platelets again. He can donate once a month. I was amused by ingenuity of the students who have use this wall and railings to create two-tier bike racks.
Very ingenious! All those bikes remind me of York which is also flat but they're not so common here in Glasgow as there are so many hills!

Clever use of space! Makes a cheery picture somehow.

I wish we saw sights like this - bicycle riding as a means of transport is not big here. Looks so charming.

What a great idea - wouldn't it be good if cars were just as parkable?!

Love the shot. Parked bikes are such a big part of Cambridge.

Great shot - I love those railings. Now did you notice while you were there if the roadworks are still outside John Lewis? Just wondering when I can start dropping my son at Drummer Street again! My husband enjoyed giving platelets - nice nurses & free sandwiches(!) - but his levels dropped so they sacked him!
