Railway workers in Japan

Our holiday to Japan was a railway holiday so I thought I ought to include some train pictures. These railway workers were actually laying tiles on the platform but all had to stand still until the trains had passed. It was so funny when they all saluted in unison - sadly I missed the moment on camera.

So many workers for the job! If it was in Australia, it would be one guy and he would not be stopping to salute the trains!

So different! They would be on a tea break here and it would be Sunday and we would all be on buses or on alternative routes taking 4 hours instead of the usual one :oD
