Blue skies

Blue skies this morning - a welcome sight after all that rain yesterday. This park is designed as flood plain and looked pretty this morning with the river overflowing it's banks and the swans enjoying their increased habitat. St. Mary's parish church in St. Neots is in the background. So far no houses are threatened but there's more rain to come over the weekend. My allotment was flooded at one end and I was lucky to be able to pull up three parsnips from the squelchy mud. That may be the last chance I get before Christmas.
A nice view, good frame with the tree

My kids would say that's all the parsnips you need (but I love them!). Lovely wintery shot of the park.

@judithg Roasted parsnips? One of the best things about Christmas I think. Very pretty scene too.

A beautiful composition! I hope the flood water doesn't get any higher there. Hopefully a dry day today will help with that.
