I was having trouble finding a suitable subject for a photo today. The snow has lost it's sparkle, so I tried some bird shots from the window. All no good. However, I've just returned from giving a talk on patchwork to a small group of ladies - my first talk and I was nervous! I noticed that kevin @khirsch had posted a picture of some sewing spools, so I thought I'd try something with a sewing theme too.
