War Memorial

I've never really looked at using black and white photos before. The February challenge for the next few days is to take an 'architecture walk' around town or your home. It's surprising what you come across that you've never really looked at before. This memorial in St. Neots was erected after the first world war and inscribed with 53 names. After the second world war a further 22 names were added.
love the processing you have here, the vinette really suits this shot.

It is really interesting how photography makes you see all things in a different way:0) Sad on the names addition, what we need arre no more wars; I like the framing you have chosen it sets it off well

War memorials are rather fascinating when you look closely, some ornate, some plain but all very moving.

I think b&w can look really neat for architectural shots. This is lovely - I love the fence line!
